Your Spine Affects More Than You Think

During this Facebook class, we will share a brief history of chiropractic care, explain how it works, and review a number of different conditions that can be alleviated with spinal adjustments. While most people only seek care for back and neck pain, there is a host of conditions and symptoms that chiropractic care can help relieve.

The brain and spinal cord are referred to as the Central Nervous System and consists of millions of nerve fibers which transmit electrical information to and from the limbs, trunk, and organs of the body, back to and from the brain.

The proper functioning of the nervous system is crucial to all aspects of the body. The nervous system consists of the brain, spinal cord, sensory organs, and all of the nerves that connect these organs with the rest of the body. Together, these organs are responsible for the control of the body and communication among its parts. Spinal misalignment can reduce nerve signals and lead to the malfunctioning of related body functions.
